The truth about sunshine

[ 2 ] 10/12/2011 |

Growing up, I never thought much about the Sun. Sure, I love an uplifting sunshiney day, lying in its rays getting nice and warm; and I was always careful not too look directly at it in case I blinded myself (as parents/teachers were constantly threatening). As I became more spiritual and mystical (and embraced my inner Cancerian), I felt magical about the moon and astrological planets… but the Sun got kinda neglected. Until now.

I was reading a channelled Patricia Pereira book last month when something interesting caught my attention: according to her alien Arcturian sources, the Sun is an information database. How fascinating, I thought. Add to this some channelled works by David Wilcock, who brings through spiritual messages from Ra (the Egyptian Sun God), and you have some further mind-blowing information: ”The Sun is actively pumping out spiraling energy waves that drive the planets and moons in their respective orbits. As the planet gets farther away from the Sun, it expands on this spiral of energy that the Sun is pumping out at a very slow speed, and it gradually inches farther and farther away. That’s why the Ancients said that Earth’s year used to be exactly 360 days long, and that they only begrudgingly added the last five and a quarter days after the fall of Atlantis…

“So the farther away you get from the Sun, the more you break into higher levels of vibration represented by a bigger sphere. As the Earth punches into a higher level of energy based on its position to the Sun, it expands in size, because as it moves into that higher energy, the energy within the core actually expands. What also happens is that this energy ”zaps” all the creatures that are on the Earth, because the increase in the wavelength of the planetary spiral is accompanied by a spontaneous burst of energy from the Sun — a burst that has qualities of both radiation and intelligence. The ancient Hindus referred to this burst as the ‘Somvarta fire at the end of an Age’.

“Research is now suggesting that the Sun is like a hole that has popped in the energy field of the Galaxy, allowing energy to flow out in a given area; that’s why we see it as bright white light. They’ve already proven that there’s no nuclear furnace going on in there. The amount of neutrinos that the Sun gives off is far too low for it to be the byproduct of a nuclear reaction. There are missing neutrinos. They’ve known about this for 30 years, and the problem is not being solved — those missing neutrinos simply don’t exist! So the Sun is not a nuclear furnace. The Sun basically represents cosmic energy, the true energy of Creation. What this means is that the Sun is like a pinhole in space where the energy is flowing out — just like a pinhole in the bag of water.”

OK, so that’s the spiritual take. Over at NASA, the white-coat squares have some interesting stuff to add, too. On November 3, one of the most powerful types of storms the Sun can unleash — an X1.9 flare — erupted from a huge blemish on its surface. The flare originated in a humongous sunspot that was sighted earlier that week — one of the largest sunspots seen in years. The flare “triggered some disruption to radio communications on Earth beginning about 45 minutes later,” according to NASA officials.

People who pay attention to this kind of stuff will tell you that solar activity has been abnormally high for the past 50 years… and that Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes “from a deep slumber” around 2013 causing a ”huge space storm” that could leave us with widespread power blackouts and zero critical communication signals for long periods of time. Scientists believe it could damage everything from emergency services’ systems, hospital equipment, banking systems and air traffic control devices, through to “everyday” items such as home computers, iPods and GPSs. NASA scientist Dr Fisher said the storm, which will cause the Sun to reach temperatures of more than 10,000 F (5500C), occurred only a few times in a person’s lifetime. Every 22 years the Sun’s magnetic energy cycle peaks while the number of sun spots – or flares – hits a maximum level every 11 years.

Well, I’m not sure what all that represents spiritually and energetically, but it seems to be in some kind of sympathy with all the major natural earth changes and disasters we’ve been experiencing down here on Planet Earth. Unprecedented levels of solar activity at a time when a massive spiritual revolution is unfolding… When I channel, I see the Sun as a joyous, yellow, happy, life-giving energy source which is literally spraying out these great arcing firestorms in celebration of the higher vibrational energies we are starting to create in our Milky Way. The Sun is literally cheering us with a wriggly dance of joy! I get such a tremendous, positive, upbeat vibe from the Sun, it’s no wonder that something as simple as lying in the sunshine on your lunch break, getting a natural Vitamin D hit, is an endorphin booster… and that people in countries with minimal sunlight invariably suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder. (Not to mention people going all hyper over the sunscreen, but that’s another story.)

And an interesting Christmas-themed tangent at this juncture… have you ever looked into the hidden symbolism of ‘Jesus the Son (SUN) of God’ — a.k.a ‘the light of the world’ – worshipped on SUNdays?! In Ancient Israel, Yahweh (God) was worshipped as the Sun in some contexts. People in the Ancient World understood that the Sun appeared to stop at the Winter Solstice (Sol = sun / Stice = still) before moving again three days later on December 25… leading them to believe that the Sun had died and then three days later it was reborn. In addition, the sun passes through 12 signs of the zodiac… hence why all godmen have 12 disciples in their various pagan-origin stories. Some people have also suggested that the reason for the virgin birth is that the farmers would observe the Sun each year starting from when it was in the Virgo constellation.

A final note… in astrology, the Sun reflects the present or the “here and now”, while the Moon infuses the past into our lives through the feelings. If you can think of anything else you know about Sol (the name for our Sun), please add it in the Comments below. Let’s start a Sun love-fest! :-)

    Hi,

There is one more thing, look up “sun gazing”, it is amazing what happens when you do this :) Have a great Christmas :)

  2. Oooooh so INTERESTING! “Sungazing is a practice that includes gazing at the sun [at sunrise or sunset] for nourishment or as a spiritual practice” AND “The time you do sun gazing is to look into white clouds and you need not look at the sun. The idea is for your eyes to receive full light spectrum, for a couple of minutes, such as 1-2 minutes.” Lots of fascinating background here.
